Ten Million Nigerian Women Farmers selected across the federation will benefit from the Federal government’s agro value Chain Capacity Building Workshop to enhance Food Security.
The Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, stated this at the opening of a 3- day National Workshop on Agro -Value Chain Capacity Building for Women Farmers put together by the Ministry in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the organisation of Islamic Cooperation OIC in Abuja.
She noted that the workshop and its accompanying Memorandum of Understanding with the OIC signaled a turning point in efforts to bridge long-standing gaps that have kept women at the margins of agricultural growth.
