Air Peace CEO Lauds Ekiti Airport as World-Class Facility

The Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace Limited, Dr Allen Onyema, has described the Ekiti State Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport as one of the best in the world, praising its state-of-the-art infrastructure and operational efficiency. Landing at the airport on Saturday in a Boeing 737, Dr Onyema commended the runway, apron, and terminal building, noting that the airport is well-equipped to handle both domestic and international flights, including larger aircraft like the Boeing 777.

Expressing his readiness to partner with the airport once commercial operations commence, Onyema highlighted its potential as a hub for travelers and pilgrims in Nigeria. He stated that the smooth landing of a Boeing 737 at the facility underscores its high standards and operational capacity. Supporting this claim, the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Airport Project, AVM Sunday Makinde (rtd), affirmed that the airport is fully prepared for commercial flights, while Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Rt Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun, described the project as a game-changer for the state’s economy and connectivity.
