Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on Thursday evening joined other dignitaries to pay last respects to the late Mrs Gbemisola Olutayo Olowolafe, wife of Dr Tunji Olowolafe, Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. Among those present were former Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
The funeral service, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, drew friends, family members, and prominent Nigerians who came to celebrate the life of the late Mrs Olowolafe.
Governor Oyebanji urged the bereaved family to take solace in the legacy of service and honour Mrs Olowolafe left behind, describing her as a fulfilled woman who served humanity well. He prayed for strength and comfort for the children and widower.
