The Bank of Industry (BOI) has announced the disbursement of ₦22.89 billion to 29 manufacturers under the Federal Government’s ₦75 billion Manufacturing Sector Intervention Fund. This initiative aims to enhance industrial growth and support local manufacturers across the country.
BOI Managing Director Olasupo Olusi revealed this during an interactive session with the Organised Private Sector in Abuja. He added that an additional 20 projects, valued at ₦6.3 billion, are in various stages of disbursement, highlighting the fund’s ongoing impact on the manufacturing sector.
Olusi described the initiative as a significant step toward fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive industrial development. He reaffirmed the BOI’s commitment to ensuring that manufacturers have access to financial resources necessary to expand operations and boost the nation’s economy.
