The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from ₦890 to ₦825 per litre, effective today.
In a statement released yesterday, the refinery confirmed the ₦65 price cut, which is expected to impact fuel prices nationwide. Under the new pricing structure, buyers in Lagos will now purchase petrol at ₦860 per litre at MRS outlets.
The development comes amid ongoing discussions about fuel pricing and supply stability, with industry stakeholders anticipating further adjustments in the coming weeks.
