Ekiti Airport Will Meet Global Standards – Oyebanji

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport meets global standards in terms of infrastructure, safety, and operations.

Speaking in his office while receiving officials of AAC Management Limited – the airport facility management company – led by Managing Director Christophe Penninck, Governor Oyebanji stated that his government recognises the immense economic potential of aviation and is determined to leverage it for the benefit of Ekiti, the Southwest region, and Nigeria as a whole.

He expressed confidence in the capabilities of AAC Management Limited, noting that the state had secured one of the best hands in the aviation sector to manage the airport and upgrade it to international standards.

According to the Governor, the airport is positioned to become a key driver of economic growth, facilitating both local and international travel and trade.
