Ekiti Commissioner Urges Youths to Harness State Opportunities

Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Adesola Adedayo, has called on young people in the state to take full advantage of the numerous programs and initiatives introduced by Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.

Speaking during a youth empowerment forum in Ado-Ekiti, Adedayo emphasized that the government is committed to creating an enabling environment for youths to thrive in various sectors, including entrepreneurship, agriculture, and ICT.The Commissioner outlined several initiatives, including skill acquisition programs, financial grants for start-ups, and capacity-building workshops aimed at fostering self-reliance among the youth. He noted that these opportunities align with Governor Oyebanji’s vision of inclusive growth and shared prosperity for all Ekiti residents.

Adedayo urged youths to shun idleness and anti-social behaviors, stressing that active participation in these programs would empower them to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development. He also reiterated the government’s commitment to continually engage with the youth and address their concerns through innovative policies.
