Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has praised the Nigerian military for their sacrifices and bravery in combating terrorism. The commendation was made during an interdenominational service marking the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, held at the Government House Chapel in Ado Ekiti.
Represented by Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye, Governor Oyebanji acknowledged the military’s relentless efforts in gradually defeating terrorist groups responsible for attacks across the country. He highlighted the dedication of the armed forces despite the significant loss of personnel in the battle against Boko Haram insurgents, bandits, kidnappers, and cattle rustlers.
