Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has been named Chairman of the APC Aspirants’ Screening Committee for the 2026 National Convention. The 42-member panel, inaugurated in Abuja, will oversee the screening and verification of aspirants for all elective positions.
Key members include Kogi Governor Usman Ododo as Co-Chair, Ken Nnamani as Vice Chair, Isah Yuguda as Secretary, and Philip Shuaibu as Assistant Secretary, with other notable senators and party leaders on the team.
At the event, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda also inaugurated committees for Screening Appeal, Election, Venue, Security, Finance, Media, Protocol, Accommodation, Transportation, and Entertainment to ensure the convention runs smoothly.
