Local Government Sector Commanders of the Ekiti State Peace Corps have expressed their gratitude to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for including their officers and personnel in the N70,000 new minimum wage scheme. The state government began implementing the new wage structure in December 2024, following the governor’s approval, benefiting workers across all sectors.
In a letter of appreciation to Governor Oyebanji, the commanders praised his worker-friendly policies, particularly the integration of the Peace Corps into the state’s workforce. They noted that this inclusion not only underscores the governor’s commitment to the welfare of security personnel but also motivates them to enhance their efforts in maintaining peace and security across the state.
