Ekiti Rolling Hills Grand Honour 2024 Celebrates Speaker Aribasoye

The inaugural edition of the Ekiti Rolling Hills Grand Honour 2024, a prestigious recognition platform celebrating outstanding individuals and establishments in Ekiti State, has commenced. Organized by Ayoba FM in partnership with Emages Limited, the initiative aims to document and reward exceptional contributions through an annual awards event and the publication of Ekiti Podium magazine. On January 30, 2025, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, was presented with the Ekiti Grand Recognition Award for his inclusive and practical leadership that has fostered peace, harmony, and prosperity in the state.

In his acceptance speech, Speaker Aribasoye emphasized the importance of progress-driven leadership, stating that true success is measured by continuous improvement rather than comparison with others. He commended the credibility of the selection process, noting that he only accepts merit-based awards. Acknowledging the collective effort behind his achievements, he praised his dedicated team for their role in advancing the Legislative Agenda, which has led to innovations such as digitalizing legislative processes, remodeling facilities, and launching live plenary sessions. He also highlighted the establishment of a fully functional digital studio and independent website, enhancing transparency and public engagement.

Looking ahead, Speaker Aribasoye called for greater media collaboration to improve public awareness of legislative activities. He encouraged media professionals to work with the House Committee on Media and the Special Adviser on Media to ensure effective communication of legislative progress. The Ekiti Rolling Hills Grand Honour 2024 continues to spotlight excellence, with more distinguished individuals and organizations set to be recognized for their contributions to the state’s development.
