FG Approves N21.68bn for NAMA Headquarters in Abuja

The Federal Government will spend over N21 billion on the first phase of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) headquarters in Abuja. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo announced. The contract valued at N21.68 billion including taxes, will be closely monitored for quality and timelines.

Keyamo described the project as part of Executive Order 12, aimed at modernizing aviation infrastructure. He noted that agencies under the ministry had operated in outdated  structures for too long. The new headquarters will consolidate NAMA’s operations, provide a collaborative work environment, and boost staff morale.

The facility will include a state-of-the-art Air Traffic Management Centre. This will integrate executive management with advanced operational systems, improving efficiency, safety oversight, and real-time responsiveness. The headquarters will offer a secure, technology-enabled environment for managing Nigeria’s sovereign airspace.
