The Federal Government has resumed the payment of arrears to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, releasing the second tranche of the N44,000 owed to them nationwide.
The disbursement, which commenced on Wednesday, is being made in batches and follows the first payment made on June 3, 2025.
The arrears are a result of the newly approved N77,000 monthly allowance for corps members, which the government committed to implementing earlier this year.
