The Federal Government has launched the National Health Programs, targeting youth engagement across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas. In a statement released yesterday by the president’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the government called for applications from young Nigerians aged between 25 and 35 to join the National Health Fellows Program.
Under the Tinubu administration, the initiative seeks to enlist young professionals who will be deployed to local government areas nationwide. The program aims to empower these fellows to drive positive changes within the health sector.
Selected participants will receive remuneration and be provided with the necessary tools to enhance healthcare delivery at the grassroots level. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to youth involvement in strengthening the nation’s health infrastructure.
