The Federal Government has restated its dedication to sustaining a steady flow of gas from Nigeria to Togo, Benin Republic, and Ghana as part of efforts to combat energy poverty and boost economic growth in the West African sub-region.
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, gave the assurance on Tuesday in Abuja during a meeting with the outgoing and incoming Managing Directors of the West African Gas Pipeline Company.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Louis Ibah, the minister said the Tinubu-led administration remains fully committed to ensuring reliable gas supply to neighbouring countries, stressing that such cooperation is vital for regional energy security and economic prosperity.
