The funeral of Pope Francis will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Square, according to an official statement released today by the Holy See Press Office.
The Dean of the College of Cardinals is expected to preside over the funeral Mass, which will be concelebrated by a host of high-ranking clerics including Patriarchs, Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, and priests from around the world.
