Governor Biodun Oyebanji Named Silverbird Man of the Year 2024

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been declared the Silverbird Man of the Year for 2024, emerging as the winner after securing the highest number of votes among the four nominees for the prestigious award.Governor Oyebanji was recognised for his exceptional achievements in infrastructure and tourism development, social interventions for the elderly, and fostering inclusive governance.

Other nominees included Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Chief Cletus Ibeto of the Ibeto Group, and industrialist Chief Arthur Eze, all celebrated for their impactful contributions in their respective fields.The Silverbird Man of the Year Award, now in its 20th year, honours individuals who have positively influenced Nigerian society. Past recipients include prominent figures such as Professor Dora Akunyili, Aliko Dangote, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Muhammadu Buhari.

The announcement was made by Mr. Jacob Akinyemi Johnson, Chief Creative Officer and Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Silverbird Group.
