Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has lauded the selfless and heroic efforts of Higher Superintendent Osho Oluwasola and his team for their swift action in extinguishing a major fire at a filling station in Ado Ekiti last week. The governor’s commendation came during an unscheduled visit to Osho’s residence in the Dalimore area of the state capital on Sunday.
Governor Oyebanji personally visited Osho, who sustained injuries during the firefighting operation, to express his gratitude for the team’s bravery. The firefighter and his wife were visibly emotional as they welcomed the governor, who praised their dedication to public safety.
The governor highlighted the significant transformation of the state fire service under his administration, noting that the agency has been revamped with enhanced training programs to improve emergency response capabilities. He assured the public of continued support for the fire service to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
