Governor Oyebanji Urges NYSC Members to Drive National Development

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has urged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) posted to the state to utilise their unique talents to contribute meaningfully to national development. He highlighted the critical role corps members play in realising the vision of the NYSC scheme’s founding fathers.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream Two corps members at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ise-Orun/Emure Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji stressed the importance of diligence and commitment. He encouraged the corps members to engage actively with their host communities and champion initiatives that promote positive change and unity.

The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s support for the NYSC scheme, pledging to ensure a conducive environment for corps members to thrive during their service year. He also reminded them of their responsibility to leave a lasting impact in their assigned communities.
