The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) today, Monday, August 25, commenced the physical, in-person phase of its 2025 Continuous Voter Registration exercise across Nigeria. The registration kicked off at 9:00 am and is currently ongoing at designated centres nationwide.
This phase follows the online pre-registration which began on August 18, 2025, allowing eligible Nigerians to initiate the process digitally before completing it physically. INEC, in an update on its official X handle, released details of the schedule, registration centres, and eligibility requirements for prospective voters.
According to the commission, the in-person registration will run from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm daily. INEC urged all eligible Nigerians who have not registered to take advantage of the ongoing exercise by visiting its state or local government offices within their area to complete their registration.
