The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has intensified its crackdown on environmental infractions, sealing off several establishments across the Lagos Mainland for persistent noise pollution and related violations. The agency’s enforcement operation is part of ongoing efforts to ensure environmental sanity and public health.
The affected areas include Aguda, Surulere, LASU-Iba Road, Ilogbo Road, Jakande, Ajangbadi, Ojo, Okokomaiko, and Agric Bus Stop. These locations were identified as hotspots for recurring noise disturbances and non-compliance with environmental regulations.
Among the sealed facilities are Admax Lounge, Casco Gas Plant, Food Affairs, Hotel De Bravo, JC Wellington Hotel & Suites, Niger Villa, Nayon Superstores, Another Level Hotel, The Levite Assembly, Lutana Lounge & Suites, and Kelwinson Hotel. LASEPA confirmed the action via an announcement on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, reaffirming its commitment to protecting residents from harmful environmental practices.
