Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has assured victims of the Bodija explosion that the recommendations of the Relief Fund Committee will be swiftly implemented.
Speaking on Wednesday after receiving the committee’s report through his Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal, at the Governor’s Office in Ibadan, Makinde stated that the government could no longer afford further delays. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that victims receive the necessary assistance without further setbacks.
The committee on the management and disbursement of the Bodija Explosion Relief Fund was tasked with ensuring fair and transparent allocation of resources to affected individuals and businesses. Makinde assured the public that his administration remains dedicated to helping victims rebuild their lives.
