NAHCON Sets 2025 Hajj Fare at N8.7 Million for Southern Pilgrims, N8.3 Million for Borno and Adamawa

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the Hajj fare for 2025, setting the cost at N8.7 million for intending pilgrims from the Southern States and N8.3 million for those from Borno and Adamawa. The Executive Chairman of NAHCON, Professor Abdullahi Usman, disclosed this in a statement issued by Fatima Usara, the Assistant Director of Information and Publication, on Monday in Abuja.

For pilgrims from the Northern Zone, the fare has been set at N8.4 million. This pricing reflects a structured approach, taking into account the various logistical and regional considerations involved in organizing the pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Professor Usman emphasized that the fares were determined through extensive collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring a balanced and fair cost for intending pilgrims across the different zones. The announcement is part of NAHCON’s preparations to facilitate a smooth and well-organized Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
