The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Health Services and Environment Secretariat, in partnership with Stop TB Partnership Nigeria, the National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer Control Programme (NTBLCP), and MobiHealth, has launched a telehealth initiative at the Dutsen Makaranta Primary Health Care Centre (PHC).
The launch was graced by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, who was represented by the First Lady of Kwara State, Ambassador Folake Abdulrazak. Also in attendance were Dr. Dolapo Fasawe, Mandate Secretary of the FCT Health Services, and Dr. Funmi Adewale, CEO of MobiHealth.
In her remarks, Senator Tinubu reaffirmed her commitment to the eradication of tuberculosis in Nigeria by the year 2030, highlighting the new telehealth programme as a vital tool in improving access to quality healthcare services nationwide.
