Reinstated Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, on Tuesday presided over his first plenary session since returning to office.
The sitting also marked the official debut of Mr. Taiwo Otun as the new Clerk of the House.
Following a prolonged recess, the Assembly reconvened quietly, with low attendance and minimal media presence as many observers were unaware of the sitting. The only item on the order paper was the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy Bill 2025, which successfully scaled its third reading during the session.
