Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has once again turned down a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League, intensifying speculation over his next destination. Despite being one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards, the 26-year-old Nigerian international appears to be in a transfer dilemma as he holds out for a move that aligns with his career ambitions.
Osimhen had an exceptional 2024/2025 season, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances for Turkish giants Galatasaray. His remarkable form caught the attention of Al Hilal, who reportedly made him their top target ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. The Saudi club tabled a massive €120 million wage package over three years and agreed on a €75 million fee with Napoli.
However, French outlet Foot Mercato reported that the offer, though substantial, failed to convince Osimhen—marking the third time he has rejected a move to Al Hilal. As his future remains uncertain, the striker continues to prioritize a move to a top European club, despite intense pressure and big-money offers from the Middle East.
