Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has announced the appointment of Mr Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff, effective January 2, 2025. Adebayo, currently serving as Commissioner for Budget, Economic Planning, and Performance Management, brings extensive experience in finance, planning, and management to his new role.
The Governor also approved several key reassignments. Hon Femi Ajayi, presently Special Adviser on Independent Project Monitoring, will take over as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning. Meanwhile, Prince Wole Ajakaiye, currently the Director General of SDGs, will head the newly established Office of Special Services as Special Adviser.
In addition, Barrister Tajudeen Akingbolu has been appointed Director General of the newly created Ekiti State Transport Agency. Governor Oyebanji expressed confidence in the appointees’ abilities to deliver on their mandates and called on them to ensure efficient service delivery in their respective roles.
