Oyebanji Assures Ekiti People of Support After Devastating Rainstorm

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has sympathised with residents over the destruction caused by a heavy rainstorm on Saturday, which damaged several private and public properties across parts of the state. Thankfully, no lives were lost in the incident.

In response, Governor Oyebanji has directed the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to begin immediate assessment of the affected properties to enable swift assistance to victims. He assured the people that the government stands firmly with them during this critical time and urged them to remain calm as steps are taken to address the situation.

“The Biodun Oyebanji administration is committed to the welfare of the people and will leave no stone unturned in providing timely succour to those affected,” the Governor said in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, and released to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti.
