Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has cautioned against politicizing the state of federal roads, stressing that President Bola Tinubu has been fair to Ekiti.
Speaking at the 2025 Udiroko Festival in Ado-Ekiti, he dismissed claims of neglect, noting that while the Ado-Aramoko-Itawure road is yet to be awarded, work is ongoing on the Ado-Ikere-Akure and Ado-Ijan-Iluomoba roads, while the state has completed the Ado-Iworoko-Ifaki road.
Congratulating the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, the Governor praised him for fostering peace, unity, and cultural heritage, describing him as a symbol of wisdom and development. He said the Udiroko Festival reflects the monarch’s visionary leadership in sustaining Ekiti tradition in modern times.In his remarks, the Ewi commended Governor Oyebanji’s achievements, including the Agro-allied International Airport, ring roads, and the overhead bridge in Ado-Ekiti, while also hailing President Tinubu’s reforms.
