Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has extended warm birthday wishes to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, on his 48th birthday. In a statement by Yinka Oyebode, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Oyebanji commended Aribasoye for his unwavering dedication to Ekiti’s progress and for being a strong partner in advancing the state’s Shared Prosperity agenda.
Governor Oyebanji described Speaker Aribasoye as a testament to God’s grace, noting his varied journey from student activism to roles as a public servant, lawyer, and politician. He praised Aribasoye’s leadership since he assumed the role of Speaker of the Seventh Assembly in June last year, applauding his guidance over a productive and responsive Assembly.
According to Oyebanji, Aribasoye serves as a positive example of youth in governance, demonstrating that young leaders, when well-prepared, can excel in leadership roles. The Governor expressed his best wishes for the Speaker’s continued health, success, and fulfilment.
