President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja following the conclusion of his Eid holidays in Lagos. The President had been in Lagos since Tuesday, May 27, where he attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
A video posted by Mr. Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, captured Tinubu in the company of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as he made his way to the airport. The clip showed a cordial farewell between the two leaders.
The caption accompanying the video confirmed the President’s departure, stating, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu heads back to Abuja from Lagos after the Eid Holidays.” It also noted that Governor Sanwo-Olu personally accompanied him to the airport.
