Pro-Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, may soon be extradited to Nigeria if the Finnish Government honours the Federal Government’s request, according to Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.
Speaking during a national television programme monitored in Lagos, Gen. Musa confirmed that all necessary documents for Ekpa’s extradition had been submitted to the Finnish authorities. He noted that the matter was now in Finland’s hands and expressed hope for a favourable outcome.
“Well, I’m sure he (Ekpa) is cooling off somewhere,” Gen. Musa remarked, hinting that security agencies are keeping close tabs on the situation pending Finland’s response.
