President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the occasion of his 85th birthday, praising his decades-long service to Nigeria in both the judiciary and traditional leadership.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President extolled the Emir’s contributions to national development, noting his distinguished career as a Justice of the Court of Appeal before ascending the throne.
Tinubu described the Emir as a symbol of wisdom and stability, whose leadership continues to inspire peace and progress in Ilorin and beyond. Sulu-Gambari was called to the Bar in 1968 and has remained a respected figure in Nigeria’s legal and traditional institutions.
