In their condolence messages, they highlighted her remarkable contributions to the journalism profession and national development. A respected figure from the Aboaba family of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Doyin Abiola was widely regarded as a trailblazer in Nigerian media and a role model for generations of journalists.
President Tinubu described her as a woman of integrity, tenacity, hard work, and commitment to excellence. Governor Sanwo-Olu also mourned her passing, noting it as a significant loss to the Nigerian media industry.
