Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the second anniversary of his administration, commending his leadership and the progress recorded across key sectors. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji praised the President for stabilizing the country through courageous reforms and policies that are positively impacting the economy and national development.
He highlighted the gains of the Renewed Hope agenda, citing improvements in agriculture, mining, tourism, and the blue economy as signs of a growing and more resilient Nigeria. The governor also lauded the economic reforms initiated by President Tinubu, noting that increased resource allocation to sub-national governments is fast-tracking development at the state level. According to him, Nigeria is in a better shape today than it has been in the last decade, based on economic indices.
Governor Oyebanji expressed gratitude to the President for various interventions in Ekiti State, including capital projects, federal appointments for indigenes, empowerment initiatives, and the establishment of a new Federal University. He called on Ekiti citizens at home and in the diaspora to continue supporting President Tinubu’s vision for a greater Nigeria and prayed for continued divine guidance in his leadership.
