The city of Ado-Ekiti comes alive today as residents, dignitaries from far and wide and cultural enthusiasts are expected to gather at the Ewi’s palace for the grand finale of this year’s Udi Iroko Festival, an age-long tradition that celebrates unity, ancestral heritage, and the spiritual strength of the community.
The event will feature traditional rites, music, dances, and colorful displays of Ekiti culture. Traditional rulers, chiefs, indigenes, and tourists will be in attendance to witness the symbolic rituals and pay homage to the spirits of the land.
