Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has renewed calls for Russian President Vladimir Putin to participate in proposed peace talks scheduled to hold in Turkey tomorrow.
In his nightly address, Zelenskyy stressed that every appeal for a long-term, unconditional ceasefire is significant. He also emphasised the importance of direct, high-level negotiations.
Describing Putin as the ultimate decision-maker in Russia, Zelenskyy maintained that resolving the conflict lies solely in his hands. “This is Putin’s war,” he said, “and so the negotiations must be with him.”
