Ekiti state governor, Biodun Oyebanji Orders Security Agencies to Relocate to Oke Ako, Iyemero Forest Corridors

Ekiti state Governor Mr. Biodun oyebanji has directed all security agencies operating in Ekiti state to relocate their operational headquarters to the Oke Ako and Iyemero axis and remain stationed within the forest corridors bordering neighbouring states to strengthen protection and surveillance.

The directive follows heightened security concerns around border communities. The military and other security agencies were visibly deployed along the axis, accompanied by the special Adviser on security matters, the Commissioner of police, and the state Director of security services, who were physically present at the operational location to coordinate field activities.

Governor Oyebanji emphasized the need for proactive security responses to emerging threats, particularly in border towns vulnerable to infiltration.
