A massive fire engulfed the studio section of Radio Nigeria’s Lagos office on Wednesday night, causing significant destruction. The incident, which occurred at Plot 35, Ikoyi Road, was quickly addressed by the Lagos State Fire Service. Margaret Adeseye, the service’s director, confirmed that emergency responders contained the fire to prevent further spread.
While the cause of the blaze remains unknown, it reportedly caused extensive damage due to the flammable materials in the studio. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact source of the fire.
Authorities, including the Federal Fire Service and police, were on-site to manage the situation and ensure safety. No casualties have been reported.
