The Global Entrepreneurship Festival, GEF, has appointed Africa’s foremost industrialist and President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as its Grand Patron.

The appointment was formally presented during a visit by the GEF Board to Alhaji Dangote.

During the visit, the delegation also honoured the business leader with a special recognition for his contributions to entrepreneurship, business development and economic transformation across Africa.

The GEF described Dangote’s contributions as significant to the growth of entrepreneurship and business development on the continent.

The appointment further highlights the festival’s focus on promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development while recognising individuals who have made notable contributions to Africa’s business ecosystem.
