NNPC CUTS ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES BY 28% TO N2.6TN
October 04, 2026
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) reduced its general and administrative expenses by 28 per cent to N2.6 trillion in 2025 as part of efforts to cut costs and protect profitability.
The company’s cost-optimisation drive came amid weaker global oil prices, which put pressure on the earnings of oil producers.
NNPC said the reduction in administrative spending was part of measures to improve operational efficiency and manage expenses.
The company added that the move was aimed at strengthening its financial position and sustaining profitability despite the challenging oil market environment.
