The Osun State Government has dismissed allegations that it is coercing local government finance directors and heads of administration to change account signatories amid the ongoing political tussle between the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) over local government control.
Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Osun, Mr. Adewale Adebayo, had alleged that the Adeleke-led administration was forcibly relocating officials to an undisclosed location to pressure them into altering council account details.
However, the state government refuted the claims, stating that no such action had been taken.
