FG ARRAIGNS THREE MEN OVER OYO SCHOOL KIDNAPPING, TERRORISM

The Federal Government has charged three men before the Federal High Court in Abuja over the abduction of school children and teachers in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State. The suspects; Abdulrazak Umar, Yunusa Musa and Shamsu Adamu Sani are facing a 10-count charge bordering on terrorism, conspiracy, kidnapping, concealment and alleged membership of the proscribed terrorist group, Darul Salam.
The prosecution also accused Abdulrazak Umar of providing terrorist training, inciting violence through a WhatsApp group, and engaging in illegal gold mining in Suleja, Niger State. The suspects are expected to appear in court next week, while investigations into other alleged accomplices continue.
