The naira recorded an ₦11.12 gain against the United States dollar on a week-on-week basis at the official foreign exchange market.

Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the naira strengthened further against the dollar on Friday, trading at ₦1,346.49 compared with ₦1,347.63 recorded on Thursday.

The latest movement represents a marginal ₦1.14 gain by the naira against the dollar on a day-to-day basis.

The development indicates continued improvement in the naira’s performance at the official foreign exchange market.
