OYEBANJI CONGRATULATES ADELEKE ON OSUN RE-ELECTION

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election for another term in office following his victory in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
Adeleke, the candidate of the Accord Party, was declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday morning.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, and made available to journalists on Sunday, Oyebanji described Adeleke’s victory in the keenly contested election as a reflection of the wishes of the majority of Osun State voters.
The Ekiti governor commended the people of Osun State for participating in the electoral process and congratulated Adeleke on securing a fresh mandate to continue leading the state.
Oyebanji wished the Osun governor a successful second term and urged him to remain committed to the development and welfare of the people of the state.
