RCCG FOUNDER’S DAUGHTER DENIES CRITICISING CHURCH LEADERSHIP OVER FATHER’S LEGACY

August 04, 2026

Pastor Titilayo Adewale, daughter of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pa Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, has denied claims that she criticised the church's leadership for allegedly sidelining her late father's legacy.

In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Adewale described as false a viral statement attributed to her, insisting she never made the comments about the RCCG or its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

She added that her father never sought earthly recognition and would not have been concerned about whether his name or image appeared on church buildings or institutions.
